Environmental Impact.
When Building and repairing instruments I am constantly trying to find better ways to reduce the impact on the natural world. Where possible I use salvaged woods to build from. Where salvaged woods are unavailable or unsuitable I do my best to use woods that grow native to Ireland and avoid import of woods grown in strained ecosystems. I hand brush my finishes to reduce both waste and pollution. I also use hand tools where possible to reduce unnecessary energy use.
